Scope and Content Fortlet at Castle Greg, West Lothian This fortlet is at Castle Greg and is built just S of the summit of Camilty Hill. It is well preserved and may indicate a existence of a minor Roman road to the W of the Pentland Hills. No such road is yet known however. This is an aerial view of the site. The remains of the rampart and two outer ditches are obvious in the middle of the image. The entrance is in the NE side, and there the rampart on the N side turns in slightly for about 3 m.
