Scope and Content A 63-page report on a project carried out on behalf of the Battle of Prestonpans 1745 Trust by Glasgow University Archaeological Research Division. (One sheet - page 7/8 - containing the first three sections, namely the Executive Summary, Introduction, Site Location Topography and Geology, and part of the fourth (Archaeological Background) appears to be missing, and it is hoped it can be inserted or replaced). It includes reports of a geophysical survey, excavation at Preston House, a metal detector survey, and work with the community.
