Scope and Content 17 pages, with covering 1-page letter from Angus Mitchell to R J Mercer, RCAHMS: setting out a policy and strategy for the management and conservation of Greyfriars Kirkyard and its monuments. It is based mainly on a detailed suevey of the monuments in 1995-2002, a landscape survey by the Turnbull- Jeffrey partnership, and a conseervation plan prepared by students at the Scottish Centre for Conservation Studies at Edinburgh College of Art. A number of proposals are made, including sources of funding, raising public awareness, and other matters.
