Description Close up of the A-VOC cipher of the Amsterdam chamber of the Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie (Dutch East India Company), although the ship belonged to the Middelburg chamber of the Company, the cipher of which was Z-VOC. This indicates that ordnance was exchanged between the various chambers.
