On-line Digital Images On-line Digital Images DP 115116 Interior. View of Moulding Tools - Moulding of Fragranite: Moulded sinks can be seen on the right. Each mould machine takes 16-23 minutes to mould a product. The mould tool fill is then subjected to curing with the application of heat through a heat exchanger (150 degrees centigrade – the water used to heat the tool is pressurised, so superheating is possible) and pressure at 30KW for 23 minutes. There can be no more than a 4 to 5 degree centigrade variation across the mould tool during this process. During polymerisation the exothermic reaction varies at certain points of the mould tool. Gases are produced inside the mould tool, so the tool must be compressed or the front face of the product would be rough and uneven. 2/3/2012 Item Level
