Scope and Content 31 December 1867, from 7 Maitland Street. Thanks Petrie for 'the very fine specimen of one of your most ancient Orkney families' that he sent and will be pleased to receive more bones. from Mr Farrer also received. Requests that Farrer should retain any animal remains and offers identifications of those already received [?from Holm of Papa Westray North cairn]. Encourages Petrie to submit communication.
