Scope and Content A large collection by R W Johnstone of postcards, dating from between c1900 and c1930, of country houses throughout Scotland, particularly Highland and Grampian. Also a contemporary set of photographs showing country houses. Many of the houses would be attached to shooting estates. R W Johnstone ran a Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents practice, and was involved in the sale of these properties.
