Scope and Content Detail of 1843 datestone above cream-painted pilastered entrance doorway to 43 East Princes Street, a three-storeyed tenement forming part of a cohesive block with 44 East Princes Street. Sitting behind a low coped whitewashed boundary wall and set back slightly from the pavement, 43 and 44 East Princes Street would have been some of the first seafront tenements built in Rothesay.
