Scope and Content Late 19th/early 20th century two-storeyed, white-painted detached house with garage attached to left. Ground-floor bay window to right with interesting small triangular pediment above central window. The piended or hipped roof is topped with red sandstone ridge tiles, with scrolled ends. The upper panes of the windows all have interesting stained glass consisting of unusual-shaped heraldic 'shield' with yellow ribbons surrounded by pale green border. Above the central pedimented and pilastered entrance doorway there is a blank shield at first floor level, which may previously have had an inscription.
