Description Interior. Cask Rebuilding and Rejuvination Process. Vertical Cask Hoop Driving Machine. Second Cask Hoop Drive. The cask sits vertically in the machine. This machine forces the end, quarter and bilge hoops at both ends of the cask for a second time after the cask has cooled down after steaming or charring. This tightens the cask by forcing the oak staves and chimes together. The cask is now ready for testing.
