A photograph album featuring an unidentified country house, possibly Borders, and a possibly related estate building, c.1880, and many unidentified family portraits taken by photographers in Edinburgh, Kelso, Berwick upon Tweed and Ashford, Kent. These include 16 cabinet cards and 29 cartes de visite and photographers include W.H. de Lan; P. Nimmo & Sons, Alexander Nicol, R.S.Webster, F.M.Dallas, Messrs. Low, R.Brown, P. Devine, Parisian Photographic Compagnie, Wood & Co., J. S. Tunny, and Ovinius Davis, all of Edinburgh; W.Green; Totherick; J. Herriott, (The new instantaneous process for children), and John Ross both of Berwick on Tweed; W. Bates, High Holborn; Mrs S.W.Barnes, Ashford; Mackintosh; A & G Taylor; R.Bell, and Stimpson, all of Kelso; P M.
