Scope and Content This is a 30-page report on an archaeological study of a conveyor line and access route for the Glenmuckloch Open-Cast Coal Site (OCCS) carried out in 2005 by CFA Archaeology Ltd, commissioned by ATH Resources. 45 sites of cultural heritage significance were identified within a 100m corridor of the conveyor route, and four key receptors were identified within 1km of the conveyor route ('shown in Figure 1') (49 sites in all). Two sites were classified as of National Importance; three, of Regional Importance; seven of Local Importance; and thirty of lesser importance. Certain mitigation measures were proposed.
