Description A family photograph album, dating between c.1910 and c.1920. Subjects include tours on the Continent, an unidentified house, possibly in Ireland, Fountains Abbey, family events and portraits of men on service in the Great War. One photograph shows General William Booth (1829-1912). Several photographs relate to the Earlsferry and Elie area, Fife, including Ogilvie House, Elie Lighthouse, Lady's Tower, Saucher Point, and naval and other ships in the Firth of Forth. The photographs of Ogilvie House are of particular interest in recording garden features including a gazebo and a shell-encrusted planter or bird-bath.
