Approximately 52 small stones sat in about 8 fanshaped rows converge towards a small mound of stones at the narrow end of the fan and some 12.5m distant. Overall widths of rows 11m and 19m at narrow and wide ends of the fan respectively. Central alignment of rows approximately 318deg. true. Ground slopes upwards slightly towards the mound from the base of the rows. Length of rows 25.5m.

L J Myatt 1994.

Only one definite stone setting, 0.5m high, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Sandside Estate. There are no surrounding stones of any size and the site is crossed by an old boundary dyke.
