There are only hut foundations left of this camp which was probably associated with disused airfield.

(Name cited as Philorth Bridge Halt and location as NK 0212 6450). Disused camp: only hut footings of camp remain. These extend from NK 020 645 to NK 028 645, and are probably associated with nearby airfield (NK06SW 26).
NMRS, MS/2059.
The accommodation camp is situated on the N side of the B9033 road and to the N and S of dismantled Fraserburgh to St Combs branch railway immediately E of the Water of Philorth. The camp is in two parts with the E section lying between the railway and the road, whilst that to the W is between the railway and the dune system.
The camp is visible on vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 108, 4004-4006, flown 23 May 1946), which show that at that date almost all the huts and buildings were extant. The photographs show that the eastern group of huts totalled at least 28, with two emergency air-raid shelters. The buildings and huts are mixed Nissen and other types. The western group is larger and visible on the photographs are at least 30 structures with one hut base and four emergency air-raid shelters. Within this group only one Nissen hut can be identified on the photographs, the rest would appear to be pitched roofed huts and flat roofed buildings.
The site, inlcuding two of the emergency air-raid shelters is shown on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
