The site of a tower belonging to 'Wally Bell of ye Nuke' is depicted on a map of 1590 but cannot be located. It is depicted in Blaeu's Atlas as 'Nucke' and may be placed on the E side of the Mein Water, to the E of Castlebank steading (NY 204 747).
