Archaeology Notes

NO53NE 53 583 398.

In October 1991 a visitor to Arbroath Museum gave details of a cup and ring marked boulder at Craigend, near Arbroath, previously recorded by Professor J Y Simpson. It has nine cup marks, eight have rings with double radial grooves, and one has a complete ring and a further half ring and radial groove. Size of exposed face: 90cm by 46cm.
