Air photography has recorded the cropmarks of a pit-circle (measuring about 12m in diameter) about 650m W of The Welton steading (at NO 1886 4406). A possible palisaded enclosure (measuring about 22m in diameter) was also revealed, about 45m to the N on the edge of a terrace (NO 1885 4413).
