Bush farmhouse and outbuildings (NY39SE 64) appear of entirely 18th/19th century construction, and there is no apparent local tradition of a tower near here. Dr M Robson of Wilton Lodge Museum has no information on the name, and he doubts the existence of a stronghouse at this locality.
Visited by OS (JRL) 24 September 1979.
