Once the principal seat of the Johnstones.

OSA 1797

No trace of this castle remains. Between the drive and the wall to the west of the site are a few grass-covered mounds, but there is nothing to associate them with the castle unless they are excavated.

Visited by OS (WDJ) 19 May 1966.
