There is a 'Druidical temple', consisting of a circle of upright stones, on Airdrie farm (NX 966 587).
OSA 1794; G Chalmers 1824.
There is no trace of this 'Druidical circle', and no knowledge of its probable site, for which a careful search was made during the Ordnance Survey in 1893.
