Archaeology Notes

NX75SW 17 7079 5018.

There was a stone circle near the 'Roman Camp' at Bombie (ie. the homestead moat NX75SW 10). Clownstone Burn is supposed to derive its name from it, and according to local information, the stones were used in building Buckland Bridge.
