The remains of a faintly outlined Druidical circle were noted shortly after entering the Lake Wood (The Lake: NX 681 472), just opposite the new lifeboat house.

The wooded areas in the vicinity of the lifeboat house were perambulated without revealing any traces of a stone circle.
