B: at NR 9100 3235. This monument consists of four granite blocks, about 0.9m high, not quite equidistant from each other, so that they form an ellipse with its longer axis, about 6.4m long, lying N-S. Excavating in 1861, Bryce found a cist (0.9m long, 0.4m wide and 0.6m deep) in the centre. In it was an inhumation accompanied by an Irish tripartite bowl food vessel, a bronze awl, and three flint flakes. The finds were donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1863 by the Duke of Hamilton.

Centred NR 9100 3235. A setting of four rounded boulders on flat open moorland. There is no evidence of other stones, and a geometric pattern cannot be deduced.
