See also NO65NW 8

This site lies immediately to the east of the burial ground and chapel of St Magdalene (NO65NW 8). Early 15th century records record a hospital associated with the chapel although it may have gone out of use soon after. It is possible that the enclosure recorded on the air photographs may be connected with this hospital.

Information from RCAHMS (CAA) 14 September 1988

The cropmarks of this enclosure, recorded through aerial reconnaissance, lie about 20m from the burial ground. The cropmarks show a rectilinear enclosure, orientated with the longer side approximately N-S, measuring just over 30m by about 20m with additional features on the N stretching about another 25m.

Transcription prepared by RCAHMS (MMB) 23 January 1996.
