OS (GIS) MasterMap, July 2009.
(Location cited as NO 549 471). Windmill, Dumbarrow, early 19th century. A tall rubble tower, with a flagstone walkway about half-way up.
J R Hume 1977
Early 19th century tower threshing mill.
J R Hume 1977; G Douglas, M Oglethorpe and J R Hume 1984.
Publication Account (2013)
A tall tower with a cantilevered flagstone walkway to access the now missing sails. Tree growth is diminishing the landscape impact it once had. As it adjoins a farm steading it probably powered a threshing machine from c1800.
