One of several domestic sites is situated mainly along the N side of a track and major drain and S of the Technical site (NJ66SW 21.05) on an NE-SW axis.
The site was not visited during field work in the area.
The group of huts are visible on vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 108, frames 3055-3056, flown on 23 May 1946), which show that there were at least 43 huts, mainly Nissen type. In addition also visible are a large concrete walled compound at NJ 62428 63510 with entrances on the N and S sides and at least four air-raid shelters. Most of the hut bases are depicted on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
