(Location cited as NK 0001 6090). Rathen War Memorial stands in the grounds of the church, and commemorates the dead of both World War I and II. It is a tall rectangular block, with a slightly stepped plinth on which is carved a wreath. It is surmounted by a tall urn draped with a cloth on a decorated plinth. The whole monument stands on anangled base of coursed roughly hewn granite.
NMRS, MS/2059.
The location cited for this memorial remains unverified. It is not noted as such on the 1973 edition of the OS 1:2500 map, but may be equated with an unannotated rectangular feature at NK 00003 60901, to the WSW of the church and in line with the nave axis.
