Four shieling huts, an enclosure and a pen are situated at the foot of the steep, boulder-strewn SE flank of The Strone. Two subrectangular huts (CLOVA99 670 & 671), lie close together, their boulder walls measuring up to 0.9m in thickness and 0.3m in height; a third hut (CLOVA99 672), which is D-shaped on plan, lies immediately to the NW. A fourth hut (CLOVA99 673), which is subrectangular on plan and is situated some 70m to the NNE, is accompanied by an enclosure and a small rectangular pen.
