Archaeology Notes

NJ90NW 190 94436 06307.

This bank, formerly the Union Bank, was built in 1801, architect James Burn. The addition to Marischal Street is by William Smith. Much of Smith's interior work survives. The building removed to make way for this was Pitfodel's Lodging, built about 1530, three floors tall, with turrets.
