OS 6" map, (1959)

Whilst draining the field, three urns were found, two of which were broken before they were observed. The third was noted to be ornamented round the rim and body, and to measure c. 10" (254mm) high and 6" (152mm) across the mouth before it also crumbled. They contained some bones and black earth.

No further information.

Visited by OS (RL) 5 March 1969.

The present whereabouts of these urns, which were found before 1867 in a cultivated field 530m SSE of Westside cottage, are not known.
