NJ72NE 142 7501 2731

(Location cited as NJ 7501 2731). Hillhead of Daviot. In 1998 Mrs H Barron found a flat bronze axe while metal-detecting in a field to the S of Daviot. It is complete and in good condition, has been declared treasure trove

(TT 50/98), and is held in Aberdeen University Anthropological Museum, Marischal College, under accession number ABDUA 649/99.

NJ 749 275 In September 1996 an Early Bronze Age flat axehead was found by Mrs H Barron, Inverurie, on the surface of a ploughed field. Claimed as Treasure Trove (TT 60/98) and allocated to Marischal Museum, Aberdeen.

The accession number of this axe in Marischal Museum, Aberdeen, is ABDUA: 64999.
