Note

A township, comprising three unroofed buildings annotated 'ruins', three enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1852, sheet 15). The site of the township has been incorporated into the large crofting township of Griais, but two enclosures and what may be part of the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).

Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 30 June 1997.
