The remains of a light railway have been noted in improved fields at Lenihuline. Possibly constructed to extract timber in the 1970s, the remains include sections of track, sleepers and bogey wheels, as well as the line of the trackway itself.

A track is depicted on current OS maps running from a loading area at (NS 9997 6987) to the road at the shore (NS 9990 6952) for a distance of about 350m.

Information from RCAHMS (GFG) 14 May 2012.
