15th July 1884, SWEET HOME, 12 yrs old, not registered, wooden lugger, 15 tons, 5 crew. Master and Owner A. Farquharson, Gollochy, Port Gordon [Portgordon]. Departed Peterhead for fishing, in ballast. One life lost. Wind SSW6. Roan Head, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

The loss of this vessel is not noted by I G Whittaker (1998), suggesting that the loss was of life only, the vessel being undamaged.
