A tall dovecot 7ft 10ins square stands in the field S of Luffness House.

A N Robertson 1952

This building shows no evidence of ever having been a dovecot. According to Mrs Hope of Luffness House, it is a well from which water was pumped up to Luffness House, and is of modern construction.

Visited by OS 21 November 1962.
