One of a crescent of three Royal Flying Corps (RFC) pattern side-opening aeroplane sheds (hangars) built 1913-14. Presently in use.

The crescent of hangars is visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (106G/Scot/UK 142, 2126-2127, flown 11 July 1946).
