The Braw Bothy is the name given to a section of the stable range that once served Eccles House. Built in the first half of the nineteenth century, this part of the stable was once the coach house and has been converted into accommodation.
Situated at the eastern end of the stable range, the Braw Bothy is a two storeyed structure, with the upper floor lit by dormer windows. Large timber doors that would once have provided access into the coach house are still situated immediately to the west of the cottage.
