Stittenham, Symbol-stone fragments NH c.650 743 NH67SE 12

Two sandstone fragments, bearing incised representations of a deer and wolf in Pictish style, were found 'built into an old wall at Stittenham before 1891. Often known as the Ardross 'wolf' and 'horse', they are preserved in Inverness Museum (INVMG 00.208-9).
