NS 40066 74489 A watching brief was carried out in July

2018 during ground-breaking work required for the earth

terminals of a new lightning conductor to be placed on the

exterior of the curtain wall adjacent to the ‘Pepper Pot’.

Two 0.4m deep holes were excavated within the topsoil.

No finds or features of archaeological significance were

encountered.
