Scope and Content Plan of unfinished fort on Hill of Christ's Kirk, Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire This unfinished fort is on the summit of the Hill of Christ's Kirk. It may be that there was a palisaded homestead here first and it was planned to replace it with a fort. The plan shows the sub-circular trench in the middle with a possible entrance to the west. This trench is then surrounded by two further very incomplete trenches 10m apart. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
