Scope and Content Interior of byre at Boloquoy, Sanday, Orkney Boloquoy is a working farm, and well-maintained. The farm possesses the last working fixed barn threshing machine on Orkney as well as a turf-roofed barn. This view shows the wooden calf stalls inside a byre at Boloquoy. The Scottish Farm Buildings Survey, a partnership between the Royal Commission and National Museums of Scotland, seeks to compile records of those farm buildings of historic interest.
