Scope and Content This is a general view of the Hilton area of Inverness, looking towards the Southern Distributor Road. There are few archaeological sites of interest in this area and most relate to farming. Hilton Farm was a C19 steading, but it has disappeared under modern housing. The white building in the centre of the photo is Hilton Primary School opened in 1957 and the white building at upper right is the Community Centre opened in 1991.
