Archive History Purchased by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery from Ramsay Cornish, presumably following Goodfellow's death, and subsequently gifted to RCAHMS (Acc No 2009/118). A collection of postcards was donated to RCAHMS by Goodfellow. No formal accession record has yet been identified, but from the form of cataloguing, this would have predated 1983.

Administrative History Gavin Goodfellow, d.2008. Goodfellow worked with the Scottish Development Department (a predecessor body of Historic Environment Scotland), where he was an investigator of Scottish buildings. He was also a portrait painter.
