An unbroken circular or sub-circular ditch, usually seen as a cropmark. May be the remains of a ploughed-out barrow, roundhouse or modern feature. Use the term where function is unknown.

BOUNDARY DITCH A ditch that indicates the limit of an area or a piece of land.
CURVILINEAR ENCLOSURE A monument consisting of an area of land enclosed by a ditch, bank, wall, palisade or similar barrier, where the boundary follows an irregular curving course.
FEED BIN STANCE A circular or rectangular lump surrounded by a shallow depression, often with a slightly raised external lip, formed by cattle trampling around a feed bin. Usually seen as earthwork remains, but sometimes as cropmarks.
ROUND BARROW A hemispherical mound surrounded by a ditch (or occasionally two or more concentric ditches), often accompanied by an external (or occasionally internal) bank. Mound and ditch may sometimes be separated by a berm. Use specific type where known. Linked Data resource
