Jobey indicates a scooped enclosure at approximately NY 366 906 on his map.
G Jobey 1971
NY 3677 9077. The almost entirely denuded remains of a probable settlement are situated on a natural shelf at the foot of the E-facing slopes of Parson's Rig at 135m OD. The remains comprise the northerly arc of an earthen bank spread to a maximum width of 6.0m and a height of 0.5m, although these remains are confused by the natural slopes.
Within this arc is a vague, slightly sunken area which suggests an enclosed area with an internal diameter of approximately 50m, but this, on ground evidence, is conjectural. A low field bank now bisects this sunken area.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
