Two buildings were situated about 30m SSW of the Mannheim Oleum Plant (NY26SW 38.2) between a workshop to their WNW (NY26SW 38.63) and the more westerly building forming part of the Acids Area Offices (NY26SW 38.64) to the ESE.

These buildings are shown on three contemporary official ground-based photographs held at Kew (MUN 5-297 pt 1, 143, 184; MUN 5-297 pt 3, 349), which were taken during the construction of the factory. The more westerly (NY 24710 64892) was rectangular on plan and was distinguished by a Belfast roof. Its neighbour immediately to its ESE (NY 24732 64886) was also rectangular on plan, weatherboarded with a ridge roof and two outshots to the NNE, either side of a central entrance.

Visited by HES Heritage Recording (MMD and ATW), 7 March 2023.
