Nothing is now visible of a building that was situated between the two Cotton Waste Bale Houses (NY26NE 140.0).
A blueprint (SUPP 10-26, 3505) shows the location of the building. It was rectangular on plan, but only the contemporary official ground-based photographs taken after construction (Pearson Video 12, 21, 23, 35, 37, 50, 52, 67, 91; MUN 5-297 pt1, 126, 222; MUN 5-297 pt2, 252), held by the National Archives at Kew, identifies it as a Cement Store. They show that it was a single storey, timber-built structure with a ridged roof and two wide openings roughly 1.5m above the ground surface with windows below the eaves on the SW. Another window in the SE gable looked out over a small outshot containing a door on the SW and a window in its SE elevation.
