Nothing is now visible in open boggy ground of two buildings, which were situated about 20m W of the Glycerine Distillery (NY26NW 92).
Both buildings are shown on a ground-based contemporary official photograph (MUN 5-297 pt1, 245A) taken during construction and held by the National Archives at Kew. The more northerly building was a timber-built woodshed (NY 24591 65193), with a roof that sloped down to the W and an open front facing E, which was divided into ten bays. By contrast, the more southerly building was a timber-built cabin (NY 24592 65173), with a roof that also sloped down to the W. It had three windows and an off-centre door close to the S corner of the E elevation.
A parch mark possibly denoting the site of the cabin is visible on an aerial photograph (M/124/13 04117) flown on 19 August 1940. It is rectangular on plan and measures about 16m from NNE to SSW by 10m transversely.
