NX55SW 18 515 533 (formerly 544 515)

A stone, 24" x 9" from the hillside at Upper Newton (Morris estimates its position was NX 544 515), is now in a garden enclosure at Cardoness House (NX 566 535, along with NX55SW 19, NX55SW 20, NX55SW 32 ), it has 15 deep cups, 8 of which, in a row, have a small, very close ring.

This stone has been cemented into the floor of an open wooden shelter erected in the garden just behind Kirkdale House (NX 515 533).
